About the publication
A place between the pages.
Sandbookwich is a new independent book-reading journal and collection of thoughtful reading-club guides. This is a place for choosing books, making useful notes, discussing ideas, and finding sustainable reading habits. It is not a restaurant, food business, bookseller, or continuation of any previous website using this name or domain.
What you will find here
Our articles offer practical options rather than a single correct way to read. Audiobooks, different editions, interrupted schedules, and unfinished books all belong in a reading life. Discussion should make room for disagreement without demanding personal disclosure. No guide is a test of literary expertise.
Each guide is designed to be useful on its own. Start with a question that interests you, try a small exercise, and adapt it to the book and time you have. The articles are evergreen commentary, not current news, event listings, professional services, or claims of product testing.
Independent, from the beginning
Independently operated new publication. Not affiliated with any previous website or operator, or with any similarly named business. This site does not claim an inherited readership, former staff, business history, or endorsement from authors or publishers.
How to use these pages
Read freely, keep personal notes, and discuss ideas in your own words. Obtain books through lawful sources and respect copyright and library lending conditions. These pages do not provide accounts, submissions, shopping, or newsletter subscriptions. See our privacy information for the distinction between these static pages and their hosting infrastructure.
